Is it possible to use multicast between one EventBroker and 21 MQ (version 6) server where the MQ server only includes base broker?

Context: I have 21 instances of MQ (v6) supporting local (LAN) stand-alone JMS subscriber apps. I have two instances of MQ Server version 6 (seperate from the 21 above) that are receiving the the proxy subscriptions from the 21 instances of MQ server for those stand-alone JMS clients. In additon, the two instances of MQ server receiving the proxy subscription requests are also receiving publications for co-located (same physical box or rack) stand-alone client publishers. If I replace the two instances of MQ server receiving the publication messages with Event Broker, is it possible to do multi-cast from the Event Broker to the 21 instance of MQ server with the base pub/sub engine?
I am open to almost any suggestion
Thanks, -JR-

Thank you for the reply but I am asking more than just asking how do I tell an MQ Server base broker it has a parent which happens to be an Event Broker. I may not understand that your response entailed more than that so please be patient....

The meat of what I'm asking hinges around multicast, reliable multicast to be more specific. It appears thatyou can not use reliable multicast with MQ v6 base broker from client to MQ base broker because this can only be done with a direct connection from client to MQ server. However, I only need reliable mulitcast from base broker that is publihing to base broker that supports the proxy subscription. I haven't figured out if this is possible since I can't find how to configure it with the base broker.
Thanks,
-JR-

Multicast is not really an MQ transport, and the base MQ broker only supports Pub/Sub over MQ.

You can have multicast clients sending messages to an EventBroker flow that turns around and republishes them on the MQ transport, I think.
