I am having issues with configuring remote buildtime database.
Our build time database is located on AIX on db2 v8.2
We configured remote connection from our PC to above database. This is to avoid multiple users to access the process models. WF version on AIX is at 3.6 and local PC is at v3.5. No problems with this setup.
Now, we upgraded workflow to v3.6 on our local PC and trying to configure build time and seeing this error "FMC33922E Incorrect WebSphere MQ Workflow version".
I have catalogued node and database. Created Client Configuration Assistant and I was able to connect this build time database using DB2 command window. But, when I configure workflow build time under Buildtime Database tab, when I select existing database it is giving above error. "FMC33922E Incorrect WebSphere MQ Workflow version".
Please advice. |

Your buildtime GUI and the buildtime DB should be at the same level |

Thanks Vennela.
My buildtime database was created with workflow v3.5 on AIX. It was working fine when my local buildtime was at 3.5. Now I have upgraded my buildtime (workflow) to 3.6 on my PC and was trying to connect v3.5 database on AIX. Due to this incompatible versions, I was getting these errors.
1. I did a backup on existing AIX database (v3.5) and renamed it.
2. Upgraded workflow to 3.6 and created an empty buildtime database on AIX using fmczutil from my PC.
3. After successful creation, I exported everything from Production and imported into new buildtime using buildtime tool.
4. Now, my buildtime database database is now at v3.6. |

You could also have used the migration utility to migrate the database for you instead of doing the import/export |

That's even better. I will remember this for future. Where can I find the commands to migrate the buildtime database ?
Thanks for your help. |
