The Message Broker information center contains this text:

Import one of the samples from the Samples Gallery to see how the sample's message flow resources are stored in a Message Flow project. If the sample has a message set, its message set resources are stored in a Message Set project. For example, import the Video Rental sample or the Comma Separated Value (CSV) sample; both of these samples have a Message Flow project and a Message Set project.

The idea is that we should look at the sample to see how this stuff is organized. Actually creating these projects should be self-explanatory. I imported the Pager sample. Examining the Pager sample I indeed found a Pager Message Flows project and a Pager Message Sets project. One would expect to be able to create either one of these type projects by New-->Project--> but unfortunately Message Set Project is not an option on the New---Project-- menu. How should one go about creating one of these 'Message Set' projects?

I suspect your toolkit didn't get installed successfully. Try just to reinstall the toolkit component, applying fixpack one at a time.

I didn't have the option of installing one fixpack at a time. My only option was to use RPU. RPU listed all of the recommended updates and then installed them. The RPU update displayed satisfactory.

The options displayed on the New menu are:

Project
Message Flow Project
Message Flow
Message Map
Message Flow ESQL File
Database Definition Files
Enqueue Message File
Broker Schema
Message Set
Message Definition File
Message Definition File From...
Message Category File
Domain
Message Broker Archive
Example
Other

I exampled the Other sub-menu and didn't find it there either.

Do you suppose that 'Message Set' is actually Message Set Project ?

In 6.0.2 you don't see MessageSetProject but in 6.0.0.3 you should find MessageSetProject in File > New > Other > MessageBrokers > MessageSetProject.

Apparently the install was not completely successful. I experienced exactly the same before. Only a complete reinstall fixed it.

good luck.

For 6.0.0.3 if you don't see MessageSetProject then I agree with pcelari, you should reinstall your toolkit.

At the same time in 6.0.2 we don't have any MessaeSetProject option in File > New list. New MessageSet will create the MessageSet Project.
