Hi,
on my WINNT system, I already have MQ5.3 installed running.
I want to install MQ6.0 now, for this do I need to uninstall MQ5.3 completely and is it possible to take a backup of MQ objects of version MQ5.3 and also what is the latest CSD that I need to apply?

Thanks in advance

But be sure to start your QMGR after migrating to 6.0 before you apply the CSD. It needs to complete migration first!

I didn't think IBM supported NT any more with MQ 6. The following web site has Windows NT missing from supported platforms: http://www-306.ibm.com/software/integration/wmq/requirements/index.html

Might still work with a later Windows fixpak.

WMQ v6.0 is not supported on WinNT and afaik will only run on Win2K and above. You can use the MS03 Support Pac (available from the IBM site) to back up qmgr definitions.
