We just installed MQ6 on iSolaris and can't find any documentation about how to install, execute and configure "Configuration tool"? Should this tool be installed on NT or Solaris side and where it can be taken from.
Please help.
Thanks in advance. |

What configuration tool are you referring to?

Taken from the page you reference:

the WebSphere MQ V6 implementation is based around the Eclipse framework and is supported on both Windows and Linux operating systems. |
So, you will get it only when you install MQ on Windows or Linux.

So, is there any way to monitor the channel, queue and etc...if my MQ server saw installed on iSolaris? In other words, is there any GUI for iSolaris? |

No.
There also isn't a GUI for AIX.
That doesn't mean you can't use the GUI on Windows or Linux to monitor and control the queue managers on Solaris, or AIX, or zOS, or any other MQ server platform that doesn't have a GUI. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Solaris on Intel or AMD rather than a SPARC CPU.
Solaris 10 on AMD Opteron CPU works very well.

Is this newly supported with MQv6. Because I remember this not being supported earlier. |

Dear jefflowrey,
Tell me, please, what exactly should be installed on NT side (MQ server or Client only) in order to view QMGR that installed on iSolaris. In addition, can you, please let me know when it can be downloaded from. There was no problem to work in such way with MQ 5.3 but it's not supported anymore in MQ6
Thanks in advacne. |

Comes with the Windows & Linux product as an Eclipse plug-in. AFAIK it's not available separately but I'm ready to be corrected on that (running it on Windows & Linux atm so the question's not come up!) _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Hi All,
I don't have a installation CD, and my MQ Server was already installed on iSolaris. Please give me a clue, how can the NT MQ explored be installed and where can I take it from.
THANKS. |
