It's mentioned in the documentation that the trace process should be down by default. From some reason the trace process starting up, after server rebooting.
Do you know in which configuration file this properties are defined. In addition is there any trace level, like: Critical, error, warning etc...and where it should be defined?

Are there any files in the /var/mqm/trace/ directory?
To stop the trace just enter the following command:

Yes, but the problem that trace process was started automatically after server reboot... |

What platform?
If it is AIX, the trace command is common for all products, so they might have turned on the trace on the wrong product |
