Hi,
Our shop has OS/390 MQSeries installed in non Language Environment (non-LE).
We will also have an Language Enironment (LE) installed in our shop. That
is, we will have both non-LE and LE in our shop.
Do we need to do anything about the MQSereis? For example, do we need to
re-compile the OS/390 MQSeries in LE environment? |

Do you mean recompile a MQ application that runs on OS/390?
A LE is required for any C/C++ (v3.0 or higher) MQ applications compiled / linked on OS/390. And I believe it is true for COBOL applications too.

Actually, I am working in a shop that is migrating from PL/I to 'C' as their standard OS/390 application programming language.
The version (can't remember) of the PL/I compiler does not require LE. But the load-module (MQ app) runs in a LE enabled LPAR.

Hummm, that is a loaded statement. I would suggest getting a qualified consultant in house, defined what you want in the analysis and have them create a recommendation paper / document.
