I recently installed mb 6. As I understand, Help/Software UPdates/IBM Rational Product Update will searches and updates the lastest fixpac/updates in the both Broker and toolkit. i treid but still the version of broker is 6.0.0.1 and toolkit 6.0.0.2
Do I need to do anything? what is wrong?

When I tried to install, it gives the following errors.

What I did not understand is, this optoin is available from toolkit, how i can shutdown toolkit and run rup updates?

Rational Product Updater is available for launch outside the Toolkit.
Secondly, once it's started, even if from the Toolkit, you can quit the Toolkit.
I don't disagree that it it is at least a bit confusing to include a link in the Toolkit that requires the Toolkit to be closed.

The Rational Program Updater will ONLY update the toolkit - it does not update the broker. That is a seperate process. On Nov 7, the broker was uodated to v6.0.0.3

Thank you Bill,
I got that. However, I am still unable to install the updates. It displays lincense agreement page but there is not a place to click and I can not move ahead. It seems ridicules.
By the way, is setmacap is removed from mq 6 ? is there a new way to enter license ?
