I developed a proof of concept using the MQ Series Java classes for Windows 2000 and the server is running MQ Series Server on NT.

We want to migrate from this platform to an AIX box running the client (and also WebSphere) and the MQSeries Server on AIX.

If I download the AIX java classes from IBM's website, will my application run on the webspehere box? or Will I have to make code changes?

Thanks in adavance for any help.

Your application should run without any changes. However, you'll probably encounter the infamous segment 8 problem. You can do a search on this site for IPCCBaseAddress to get additional information.

Thats the beauty of Java - can run across multiple platfroms without changing the code
