Hello,
I've to connect an MQclient on AS400 with an QueueMAnager on a Windows2000 MQserver.
The problem I get is that MQ client CD's for AIX or NT is available, but I didn't find anything for installing on AS400.
Please Help. How should I proceed ?
Thanks a lot.

Hi !
One more thing,
I would like to send messages from an AS400 plateform (which is not the MQ server) to a queue on an MQ server on Window 2000 plateform.
In a previous mail, you said it was possible in Java Language with downloaded Java Classes.
Is it possible to writte programm with other languages like C, C++, cobol, etc.. on AS400 client Platform ??
Thank you very much for your answer.

hmm ?? well I don't know.
How to find out, download and unpack the support pack and study the suplied documentation. I know some of our customers have done it in JAVA (with the factory), and it works fine.

On AS/400 you can write MQSeries programs using the RPG programming language. I find that it's faster than the Java client. I believe that MQSeries for AS/400 comes with some sample code. |

Yes, the MQSeries server for AS/400 ofcorse can talk to RPG.... It was the Client that was the issue here...
And as far as I know it's only available as Java (no other support pack), maybee it's available as a feature (payable from IBM?).
