Hi everyone,
We have the MQSI and DB2 services all starting up on a Windows service using the db2admin account. This normally works fine and everything starts without any difficulty, but over the past few days we've been noticing that the db2admin account is getting locked out a lot (and subsequently services arent starting which is leading to users having emotional problems...).
So here's the question: the db2admin account is used when starting the services, and I'v set the password correctly in here. There are also entries in ODBC of course which use the db2admin account and password (Im sure this is also set correctly). Is there somewhere else on the system that this password might be set (incorrectly) and is forcing the account to lock out? |

If paulgroo is using MQSI, then there is no mqsisetdbparms.
Hopefully, paulgroo is using at least WBIMB.
Hopefully, also, paulgroo used mqsichangebroker to change the db2admin password for Broker and not just changed it in Services control panel. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Hi.
No, paulgroo was only using MQSI 2.1 although we're currently upgrading to WebSphere Message Broker 6.0
Yes, paulgroo did use the mqsichangebroker command and everything worked fine.
Thanks everyone! |
