I am looking thorugh the manuals and unable to find the command to start Java Websphere MQ Soap listener. It appears the command is startWMQJListener but I am not sure. apprec any help, thanks

This says the command to start the listener will be generated.

And this tells you what the generated names are.

thank you.
that was exactly where I was looking but a little confused. This is new for ver6? amqdeployWMQService command basically creates the scripts necessary..

The Soap Transport is newly included with the product in MQ v6. I believe it was available as a support pack or maybe it was included in a later CSD of MQ v5.3.

The Listener in question has nothing to do with a regular MQ Listener - which have been part of the product since at least v5.0.
