Hi All,

Can anyone tell me why my Queue Managers stop running whenever I log out of Windows.
Is there a way that my Queue Managers can continue running when i log off.
I am using MQ server version 6 on Windows 2003 server.

What user id is the MQ service running as?

Hi

Make your Startup type as "Automatic"

goto control panel --> Services --> change the Startup of IBM MQ Series to "Automatic"

Basically dont strmqm... ever...

Either start through the GUI or using amqmdain start <qmgrname>, so it becomes a child process of amqmsrvn rather than associated with the signed on user
