UPES in one corner... PEA in the other.....

WHO to put your money on ... Hummm...

Ok.. Here is what I know...

I would HIGHLY recommend UPES and this is why. If you tie yourself to a PEA then you now have to manage a thick client. Look into the Syscom Message Handeling Facility better, known as MHF. No I don't work for Syscom, but I do work for a company that uses a VERY similar architecture. We actually had built a very similar system a year before Syscom came out with the MHF. I would guess they got the idea from us!!! ;)

I would build a server that houses the MHF and strictly use UPES in the process models to communicate to your MHF. This will allow you to not only scale but to spread the load to multiple servers
