Hallo,
I have my Toolkit on WinXp installed and I try to connect to the broker (on AIX ) via configMgr on Win2ooo + SP4, all the ExecutionGroup are displayed, but only for one I received this Exception: BIP0889E with the following Details:
MessageProcessingNodeType information was not received from the Configuration Manager. Either the Configuration Manager is not available or the user 'tgdcasa3@corproot' does not have authority to view the object. (UUID='7ab7ac24-0c01-0000-0080-bdcb8953d3b2', required attribute='name')
When I take look in this ExecutionGroup I don't see the name of the Message Flow but I see "Compiled message Flow" and it's also running.
Why for this Object I haven't the authorization?
P.S. I have the WBIMB and Toolkit with fixpack07 updated, on Toolkit I see the Version 5.0.7 on my machine and also on configMgr (Win2000).
Thanks a Lot for your Help
Ciao

What says mqsilistaclgroup -e Broker\ExecGroup about user 'tgdcasa3'?
And one more question.
Do you have national characters (not ASCII) in message flows deployed to your execution group?
I've seen similar problems with message flow having national characters in comments. |

Try to run
Code: |
mqsicreateaclgroup -u corproot\tgdcasa3 -x F -e YourBrokerName\PMB_PRODUKTION |
I don't understand clearly what is your broker name - SBE6341 or MQ.SBE6341.AIX.P.

I mean using special characters in ESQL code, not in the MF name. |

Hallo Edde,
the Broker name is SBE6341, about your issue I have checked in windows User Management and the user mqsi and tgdcasa3 are in all mq* Groups included so they are administrator, the same Exception I received even when in Win2000 server open the Toolkit and connect to Broker but now the user is mqsi:
MessageProcessingNodeType information was not received from the Configuration Manager. Either the Configuration Manager is not available or the user 'mqsi@u115127' does not have authority to view the object. (UUID='7ab7ac24-0c01-0000-0080-bdcb8953d3b2', required attribute='name')
so I don't know why the user has no authorization.
Thanks

So what does the acl list say for that user/group?

Do you have this problem on your Toolkit only or this repeats on other computers with Toolkit installed?
Have you ever seen this message flows showing correctly?
Did you install/reinstall something recently?
Do you have .bar with flows that are showing as "Compiled message flow"? If you have, try to deploy it to other execution group.
I suppose problem may be in message flows, not in EG, Broker or security. But really i don't know exactly where this error is coming from. You need to investigate. |

Hallo Edde,
yes I tried from my machine and also from another machine, but the result it was the same, about the upgrading, we have last June 06 the fixPack07 installed, now we have the configmgr on a Windows Machine and the Message Broker on the AIX machine, on windows Machine I have only the Toolkit updated from FixPack07, the other Options I have deselected, may be on Configmgr I have to select in Manual Installation also Configuration Manager together with Toolkit ? I'm not sure.
Thanks a Lot for your Help
