Hi,

I need to connect to a MS Access database from the broker installed in an AIX system. For this I have used a JavaCompute node in the message flow and used the JDBC-ODBC Bridge Driver to connect. The piece of code is tested in Windows environment.

In order to connect it from AIX I need to create a DSN entry on AIX and also need to have a MS Access driver for AIX. But I was unable to find any such driver. Can anyone please suggest on this or give an alternate solution.

Thanx

Port the Access database to SQLServer and use the Merant ODBC driver to access SQLServer from AIX.

Mr Google says:

IHMO using Access for anything beyond shopping lists is asking for trouble. Use a proper database (or failing that SQL Server! ) for proper production requirements. If you're short of budget, download MySQL.
