Hi
This is not a problem of MQ 6, its related to Windows XP. by default the windows installed create their log files in \Windows\Temp locate the folder and change the permission by right click, select properties and remove the tick from "read only" attribute.
just try and Let us know about the status
Thanks and Regards

Hi
1. Ensure that the location specified temp directory having the write access,
other option
2. Right Click My Computer icon > Properties > Advanced > Environment you will see the temp folder settings there > Click edit then change the folder paths as you want....
then try it.
Thanks and Regards

I too saw the installation apparently hang at amqt0001.txt. However I let it sit for about 15 minutes and it started up again and ran to completion!
This was WebSphere MQ 7.0 on Windows XP.
I have no idea why it had that "big pause". |
