Hi
While installing MQWorkflow on Windows NT i am getting a strange problem. I have successfully installed DB2 and MQSeries. After that while installing MQWorkflow after selecting language(English) simply setup window is quitting out with out any message. what could be the reason?? If anybody having the idea respond quickly as i needed it very urgently??
I have doubt, is static IP address is mandatory to install WorkFlow.
thanks

Hi,
To my knowledge static IP address is not mandatory for installing workflow. Are u sure that it's the problem with selecting the language option as english.

Go to Windows Explorer and search all folders for a file with
name fmcsetup.log. If the install got far enough to create it,
it should give you some hint as to the problem.
If no log file, check your environment settings and make
sure you have TEMP defined. You can go to a Command Window and enter 'set TEMP' to see if it is set. If not go though the Control Panel->System and set it to c:\temp.
InstallShield uses this var to set it's SUPPORTDIR.
Go to support.InstallShield.com and then to knowledge base
and look up article Q100198. It will give you many more
items to check related to SUPPORTDIR files and access.
There is one other thing. If you have an install image that
you have downloaded to hard drive, make sure the image
path has no spaces in it ... e.g Program Files\etc. The mqwf
install has a problem with this. |
