Hi There,

I noticed that when you call a security exit on a channel (sender/receiver/cntconn/svrconn), you are limited to have complete path to 32 characters only. For example:

SCYDATA('FN=/var/mqm/exits/Blockspec.txt;')

in above example, the path starts from "FN" till ".txt" must be less than 32 characters.

I'm wondering if MQv6 increase this number of characters in path limitations.

Any info on this would be highly appreciated.

The V6 docs say: maximum length 32 characters

I had the same problem with BlockIP2 and so I added some features (e. g. path names relativ to /var/mqm/exits[64]) and sent it to the author of the exit. I think, you will be able to user longer path names in one of the next versions of BlockIP2
