Hi all,

iam trying to receive a message from MQ queue which was put by mainframeapllicationusing JMS API but i could not the read the message and when we check the depth of the Queue it is decreasing.

Iam aslo trying to send a message to MQ Queue using JMS which should be read MainFrame application but when while sending the message the message is going to dead letter queue and the format of message is not the string iam sending

Should we I any conversions from EBCDIC ToASCII while receving and vice versa for sending if we are using JMS API

i tried with MQ API both PUT and GET are working fine

please can any one help me how to do conversion with JMS Messages.

thanks.

Use MQGMO_CONVERT or it's JMS equivalent on the MQGET.

Read the IBM Websphere MQ for Java manual.

Check the messages on the queue look correct. MQMD.Format = MQSTR, and the correct MQMD.CCSID for the data in the message.
