Hello,
I've installed MA12, however each time I try to run "RUNCKTI", I get an abend S0C1 1.
Does this support pac work?
Is anyone using it? |

Yes - it works. Did you compile it correctly? _________________ Regards, Butcher |

Have you tried emailing the author? (hint: It's Wayne)
Did the link step have all the correct modules included? |

Well I'm not sure what they are all supposed to be, I just ran the compile job as it was delivered in the support pac. I got a clean compile and link.
It seems like it dies right upon submission and isn't even getting into the program.
See..........

MA12 is pretty old, based on the change date. Based on the small diagnostic data you posted, it looks like you branched into the MQ V5.3 product number literal, which precedes the copyright string. It's been a while since I worked with V5.3 (actually installed it and removed it), but can you check that you are probably linking in the batch MQ stub (and whatever else is required for MQ V5.3 batch programs)? |

Yes, MA12 is very old, but its only a cobol program. I've not heard of it getting a S0C1 before, can you compile and execute any of the sample MQ cobol programs? _________________ -wayne |

I have MA12 working now. I'm really not sure what fixed it but I replaced STEPLIB libraries with JOBLIB libraries and I re-assembled CSQBDEFV and added this LOAD MODULE to the JOBLIB libraries. Re compiled everything and.......
MA12 works perfectly, however I noticed that after a few hours it timed out, I do have TIME=1440, but hadn't placed any messages on the queue in a while.
COMPLETION CODE = 2 REASON CODE = 2161 **********
How do I keep this running? |
