How to read the core files that are generated when a execution group is abended. Its is unreadable format if i browse the file.

Can you pls tell me why the core file is genrating on abend.
And is there any chance to stop creating the file ?

Hello.

If you are getting a core file you need to raise a PMR with IBM. Core files are not readable by users of the product and are only for use by IBM Service.
