Hi! I have the ICS 4.3 and MQ 5 + CSD 12. I need help. I can not use the OAD in such configuration.

I get such error message in ICS log: Activation Service Error: cannot start the service. Make sure that theOAD is up and running and that the service is registered with OAD.

How I must start up OAD ? The information in admin gide is about VisiBroker Activation Daemon but ICS 4.3 does not use it: VisiBroker is no longer used to implement OAD, as the IBM ORB does not provide an equivalent OAD functionality.

What is OAD
Are you talking about persistentnameserver
You can start PersistentNameServer using PersistentNameServer.sh (on unix) or PersistentNameServer.bat

WebSphere MQ provides a facility, called triggering, that enables automatic
application startup when messages are available for retrieval. InterChange Server uses an MQ-triggered Object Activation Daemon (OAD) to handle the following tasks:
v Start or restart a remote connector agent from System Manager or SystemMonitor
v Restart connector agents automatically after adapter agent shutdown when a critical error occurs

The information to setup OAD is listed here. Did you follow these?

http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/wbihelp/v6rxmx/index.jsp?topic=/com.ibm.wics_user_administrator.doc/doc/administration/administration25.htm

Under section "Steps for setting automatic and remote restart for a connector"
