Hi,
Can anybody tell me? How to get a specific message from the queue?
for example reading 3rd message from a queue.
or
reading message from the queue by specifying its correlation id or message id.
Regards,

Yes, I have read quite few.
but the question is how do I specify message id to retrieve a specific message...
Can I specify my own message id or can i read message header information.. without getting message. |

Then you'll know that you can do exactly what you're describing!
In fact all you're describing. The only word of caution I have is this:

If you mean "can I specify my message id when I get the message" then fine. If you mean "Can I specify a message id when I put the mesage" do not do this! It is a really bad thing to do & will cause you all sorts of pain & problems.
Aside from that note of caution, the rest is like falling off a log. I'd question your need to do some of it but hey - those funky requirements eh? _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
