This is what I am trying to do.

There are 3 applications which are talking to each other via MQ WebSphere 5.3.
These three applications are running on JBOSS server at different location on different server.
But communicating via Websphere MQ on Solaris.
Since Solaris does not have any GUI?
How will get to know which application is sending message via wich queue on MQ server.

Is there any command by which I would be able to display the messages on particular view.

Well for straitghtforward viewing use the Windows GUI (such as it is) to view the Solaris queue mamangers, or use the command prompt on Solaris to obtain queue details, or obtain one of the 3rd party tools that monitor queues.

The latter option would probably give you the best visibility of how messages are moving from server to server. That can be tricky with out of the box facilities.

according to adminstration guide we can do
Browsing queues
WebSphere MQ provides a sample queue browser that you can use to look at the contents of the messages on a queue. The browser is supplied in both source and executable formats.
Quote:
In MQSeries for UNIX systems, the default file names and paths are:
Source
/opt/mqm/samp/amqsbcg0.c (/usr/mqm/samp/amqsbcg0.c on AIX)
Executable
/opt/mqm/samp/bin/amqsbcg (/usr/mqm/samp/bin/amqsbcg on AIX)
The sample requires two input parameters, the queue name and the queue
manager name. For example:
amqsbcg SYSTEM.ADMIN.QMGREVENT.tpp01 saturn.queue.manager
Typical results from this command are shown in Figure 6 on page 47.

I suppose "tricky" is a relative term. I was using it in terms of the multiple server scenario you mentioned, where you're trying to trace message routing, but as you correctly point out sample code is provided from which any application you require can be written.

Hi,

There are support pacs from IBM site for monitoring, I use MO71 which can be install on Windows machine and using server conn channel to monitor the qmgr.

The other program is Q. with this you can browse, get and put messages on the queue.

Hope this helps.
