Hi folks,
I am facing a very strange problem.
This is what I am trying to do.

My application is running on a JBOSS server and making use of .binding file to connect MQ series Server. Now the issue here is when my application starts on JBOSS it easily connects to MQ Series server on Windows.
ON windows XP I am using BM WebSphere MQ Explorer Version: 6.0

Now similarly when my application starts on JBOSS it does not connects to MQ Series server on Solaris.
ON Solaris I am using BM WebSphere MQ Explorer Version: 5.3
Name: WebSphere MQ
Version: 530.12 CSD12
CMVC level: p530-12-L051208
BuildType: IKAP - (Production)

bash-2.03$ dspmq
QMNAME(Q1.QUEUE.MANAGER) STATUS(Ended normally)
QMNAME(Q2.QUEUE.MANAGER) STATUS(Ended normally)
QMNAME(P1.queue.manager) STATUS(Ended normally)
QMNAME(P2.QUEUE.MANAGER) STATUS(Ended normally)
QMNAME(PQ.QUEUE.MANAGER) STATUS(Ended normally)
QMNAME(QM_orf_qa01.queue.manager) STATUS(Ended normally)
QMNAME(QM_orf_qa01) STATUS(Running)QMNAME(TestManager) STATUS(Ended normally)

This also confirms that my Q manager is running successfully.

Now here the errors locked on Jboss console is this
“6:39:09,960 INFO [STDOUT] Unable to load message catalog - mqji
16:39:09,998 WARN [JMSContainerInvoker] JMS provider failure detected:
javax.jms.JMSException: MQJMS2005: failed to create MQQueueManager for '3.209.124.60:QM_orf_qa01' ”
And also very strange is that there is no error locked on MQ server on solaris.

Why is this difference in MQ server on Windows and Solaris that much difference?
How will I resolve the issue bcz the Requirement for me is to connect my application on MQ server Solaris and not Windows?Regards
Parag

I have also seen this in a simple JMS program i've written:

if it was compiled with the jar libraries found on solaris it worked and when it was compiled with the ones found on windows it didnt.

I've never seen it work this way. You guy's are missing something about the environment (different version of MQ (6.0/5.3) where the client behaves a little bit differently) or something else.
Anyway what was the RC and did an FDC get created?
For JMS did you use any of the bad JMS CSDs (5.3 CSD 08? and CSD 09) ?
