HTTP request nodes should only be used for webservices or it can also be used for invoking and getting response from other J2EE technology like Servlet , EJBs. Actually I am able to call Servlet from HTTP. What are diffrent J2EE components or technology can be invoked from HTTP request node.

If you do it right probably any http server...
Was does the documentation say?

Hi,

fjb_saper is correct. The HTTPRequest node will connect to to any complient HTTP server.
