AFAIK This node is only supported on Z/OS platform. It cannot be used in any other platform.

I think he's talking about the withdrawn IA0W - JAVA CICS node.

Should be portable to v5.

Hi,

I tried to use this jar file --> JavaCICS.jar, which contains the code given in the below link:

http://www-128.ibm.com/developerworks/forums/dw_thread.jsp?forum=281&thread=117538&cat=9

The IA0W.pdf contains steps for converting this JAR file to a custom java node, which is used to connnect to CICS programs!!!

Can you please give me some steps / directions to follow for WMB V6.0?

Thanks,
Muthu

I thought we'd established back in 2004 that this support pac was a) withdrawn & b) for 2.1 anyway?

The guy on the link you've quoted doesn't seem to have had a response since his post in May.....

Any competent Java programmer should be able to re-use the source code of this withdrawn node in a JavaCompute node.

Any competent programmer who knows enough about how to cut&paste Java should be able to reuse this source code.

But my definiton of "competent" may not match most other definitions...
