Hi, I'd like to learn adapters esspecially file ones. Can anyone link me some pretty article about that matter ?
Since im working on winXP sp2 (no adapter supported), how can i resolve such problem (still using winXP broker toolkit connected somehow to adapter, maybe on remote unix platform)? i can arrange UNIX access (via local network), should i install whole message broker on that Unix account then adapter and how can i access it from my winXP broker, or there can be some client solution? (all is under one network domain) _________________ ---

if you are talking about file adapters, have a look at the JText Adapter (Flat file adapter).
There are 2 possibilities:
install the adapter framework and adapter local and work through FTP to the remote system.
install the adapter & framework on the remote system and work with a client connection channel to the qmgr where your broker is installed. |

problem is that, no adapter (supported by IBM) is able to work under WinXP sp2
.. aww yeah File Extender, but its payable i bet... so adapters seems to be cheeper option... now i get Unsupported-error again, on linux, due to another linux version (v4 while supported v3) _________________ ---
