Hi, I'd like to learn adapters esspecially file ones. Can anyone link me some pretty article about that matter ?

Since im working on winXP sp2 (no adapter supported), how can i resolve such problem (still using winXP broker toolkit connected somehow to adapter, maybe on remote unix platform)? i can arrange UNIX access (via local network), should i install whole message broker on that Unix account then adapter and how can i access it from my winXP broker, or there can be some client solution? (all is under one network domain)

if you are talking about file adapters, have a look at the JText Adapter (Flat file adapter).

There are 2 possibilities:
install the adapter framework and adapter local and work through FTP to the remote system.

install the adapter & framework on the remote system and work with a client connection channel to the qmgr where your broker is installed.

problem is that, no adapter (supported by IBM) is able to work under WinXP sp2

.. aww yeah File Extender, but its payable i bet... so adapters seems to be cheeper option... now i get Unsupported-error again, on linux, due to another linux version (v4 while supported v3)

it will change nothing.. and it didnt...

this property refers only to .exe application wizard... not installation procces... and it always looks like that :

BIA01002: You have attempted to install IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for JText 5.6.0 on an unsupported platform. Refer to the Installation Guide for WebSphere Business Integration Adapters
