I have extracted an FDL and Monitor XML from the same org file.

The process (The date we give in the Process Info popup in workbench) had a date as 10/1/2006 8:00:00 AM

Now in the exported FDL the date is shown as 2006-10-01 02:30

And in the Monitor XML i see the ValidFrom as 1159669800000

Now 2 questions
1. Why is the date in the FDl different from what i have given in the Process Info
2. How do i transalate the ValidFrom value to a date and time field, we are facing issues as this date when imported into actual monitor is different from the above 2 dates (process info date and FDL date) because of which we are facinf some data cleanup issues in mnitor DB

When u export to FDL the VALIDFROM value is converted to GMT. The same is calculated from the 'epoch' for WBI monitor. Both the values are pointing to ur time 8:00 AM IST on the oct 1st. Both the values are correct. I think the issue you are facing is not related to this...
