i brought up mqsi 2.1 on AIX 5.2 and MQ 5.3.4
it seems the broker and dataflow engine are up and running
but i am seeing this message in wmqisyslog

syslog: Cannot register service: RPC: 1832-008 Timed out

any idea whats going on...

Yes. You are trying to use a product that is officially out of support.

Please use WMB v5 or WMB v6.

we are trying to migrate to MB 6
But before that we want to fix all the issues with MQSI 2.1
