Hi,

We are using WMB 6.0.0.1 on AIX v 5.3. Here is our http req/reply flow sequence,

Source system sends a message to httpinput, we log the message and call an other service (httprequest), got the response and manipulate that message and then send response back to Source system. We log the message before the final reply (right before httpreply).

Source system getting some extra characters like "2000" after each 8 k bytes. If the response is less than 8k then no issue. We are capturing the message right before the httpreply and it did not contain "2000". Also WMB trace did not capture "2000".

Our network folks capture extra bytes(2000) in our TCP/IP dump. Is it adding at httpreply????

We do not know how these extra bytes added for each extra 8K?

You are not looking at the message here but at bytes flowing over the wire. The TCP layer can slice and dice the message and introduce control blocks and such and it will be transparent to the application receiving the message.

Enjoy

Is it network(TCP/IP) problem?

we do not have any options to stop these extra bytes with in the application layer.
