Hi,
I have installed Websphere/MQ client 5.3 on OpenVMS/Alpha version 8.2.

I'm trying to run the supplied AMQSGETC.EXE but I see the following errors:

Sample AMQSGET0 start
Program Name :- AMQSGETC.EXE MQSeries-LOG_ERR: FFST record created in mqs_root:[mqm.errors]AMQ00043C66_0.FDC

Program Name :- AMQSGETC.EXE MQSeries-LOG_ERR: FFST record created in mqs_root:[mqm.errors]AMQ00043C66_0.FDC
MQCONN ended with reason code 2012

It gives me the following in MQS_ROOT:[MQM.ERRORS]VMSERR.LOG

28-SEP-2006 11:40:30.97 :AMQSGETC.EXE 43c66 (36/operation in progress) vms_crtgbl - sys$crmpsc - SS$_NOPRIV MQS1_shm_07c1b000

and the FDC file shows lots, including the following extracts:

Which seems to clearly indicate that something doesn't have privilege for a shared memory access via the system call sys$crmpsc. But how to fix it? What have we done wrong, or failed to do?

Thanks for any advice

Did you check the prilileg of the user who makes this system call? see what you would find.

change default priviledges for the account of running aplications,

look for global sections of share memory or priviledge to execute $crmpsc system service.

too.

Help mcr authorize add

or

help specify priviledge

good like.

Thanks for the suggestions.

We've done what we thought was necessary - the user has CMKRNL priv, and we've tried adding the MQM rights identifier although I am not convinced that is necessary.
