Would there be any changes to database when deploying and cancel deploying?
The document does not say anything ? does any change occur in broker and configmgr database when we deploy an object? and cancel a deployment?
thanks |

Well...if you try and cancel a deploy AFTER the deploy has successfully completed, the cancel has no effect .... if the deploy hasn't completed, then the cancel MIGHT cause the deployment to be cancelled (its a timing issue, of course....) _________________ -wayne |

The broker database is modified when you deploy an object. It is not modified when you cancel a deployment.
In v5, the Config Manager database is modified for both deployment and the cancellation of deployment.
In v6, there is no Config Manager database that you need to care about. |

Named, of course, after the pet gargoyle at Message Broker HQ. His job is to ward off evil spirits, product defects and that sort of thing.
I'll let you be the judge of how successful he's been |
