I tried doing a search on this, but didn't come up with anything on this topic....

We have a problem where our OS group is doing MS patches and afterwards we have problems with our MQ Broker not coming back up running. We are getting no alarms, and that's where I was wondering... is there a process name to alarm off of, or is there any way to alert (We use BMC Patrol MQ Operator) on the MQ Broker not being up?

TIA!!

I don't show any of those processes in my task manager. This is just the broker that comes with v5.3 CSD10 (and that's what version I'm running right now).

Then you're posting in the wrong forum.

And the process will be 'runmqbrk'.

I apologize! I hit "new topic" after my search, and looked at the description and saw Broker in the description for this forum.

Although I still don't even see a runmqbrk process, and I have verified that the broker is running.
