Hi all,
I have a question on uploading software using command prompt FTP.
If I want to upload a file to a unix box by using the command line FTP and if i want to upload the file to a specific location (for example, i want to upload the file to \var\mqm\xxx\yyy directory) what is the command to do that.
put filename ???? (what is ???? here) If I do \var\mqm\xxx\yyy at ??? it is not uploading to that specific directory. I'm not sure where i am wrong.
Do I have to type "bin" at the command prompt to make binary uploads? What if I do not? Do we change the type to "bin" only for executable files or are there any other?
