we are using dimensions as out source control tool.
do we want to store bar files in source control?
everytime we chagne something, it results in a diffferent version..
looking for Expert's views, suggestions, DOs and Dont's in terms of broker source control.
pls share your thoughts. |

Are you confident that you can rebuild the contents of a particular bar file by reextracting a particular version of each and every flow and set from version control and rebuilding the bar file?
If you don't think you can recreate the bar file exactly by rebuilding it from tagged/versioned code in Dimensions, then you should store the bar file.
If you can recreate the bar file exactly, then you shouldn't store the bar file.
