Hi,
MQ Series For Win-Nt 5.2.1
I have my N application connecting to the QueueManager The program works fine for 2 days but after that I get the Error in Event Viewer
Maximum number of channels reached.
The maximum number of channels that can be in use simultaneously has been reached. The number of permitted channels is a configurable parameter in the queue manager configuration file.
Wait for some of the operating channels to close. Retry the operation when some channels are available.

My guess of possible causes:
- you are performing administration on your queue manager and start new channels. The maximum number of active channels is reached.
- the channel initiator starts a number of existing inactive channels. The maximum number of active channel is reached.
- a number of new applications connect to the queue manager.
- a number of users connect to the queue manager to perform remote administration, or simply to watch the queue manager using MQ Series explorer.
- your applications stop without closing the connections, this leaves a number of active ghost channels (for the time of the heartbeat interval or TCP/IP keep-alive); the maximum number of active channels is reached when you restart the applications.
