Hi Everybody,
IN the Windows Event log i am finding the following error :

Error on receive from host NETFACOORO1(127.0.0.1).

An error occurred receiving data from NETFACOORO1(127.0.0.1) over TCP/IP. This may be due to a communications failure.

The return code from the TCP/IP (recv) call was 10054 (X'2746'). Record these values and tell the systems administrator

What are the neccessary actions to be taken.

Regards
Nik

You may also want to tell the network people and see if they can throw some light on what happened.

The error is from the loopback address of the local host.

Given that it is happening on windows ...... I'd say reboot .....

Given that it happens on Windows, and is happening against the LOCAL machine...

I'd guess the Windows firewall is blocking the port.

But, of course, nik_iway didn't give us nearly enough information to make reasonable guesses, and clearly didn't search this forum for previous answers to the same question...

So I'm going to go with Hassan's answer.

Reboot, and keep rebooting until it fixes the problem.
