Hi,

Im having a message set (MRM/XML) with root tag as "Message"...

and in my flow for Message Type I will be giving "Msg"..

So whats happening is, if I pass input message with root tag as "Msg" and rest content irrelevant to message definition... MRM is perfectly parsing.. But at the same time, if I pass input message with root tag "Message" and proper message as defined in the message definition, Im getting parser exception.

Can anyone tell me what is happening...

Thanks in advance...

XML is self-defining.

The properties of the MQInput node are defaults.

If you look at the "bad" message, you will probably see that it is in the XML domain, and not the MRM domain.

If the Broker can identify a message sufficiently well enough to parse it, it will parse it.

So, if a message starts with something that the broker can use to identify that a message is XML - for example "<?xml" - AND the broker hasn't otherwise found another identifier for the message - like an MQRFH2 header - then the broker will parse the message as XML.
