Hi,
My Environment is Mq6.0, db2 8.1.4 and message broker 5.0 on windows xp system. When I try to run create default configuration I am getting the error " Toolkit is unable to communicate with Configuration manager" and the reason is "MQSeries QM is not running or the listner on the port is not started". Plz let me know where I have done wrong.

Have you confirmed that the queue manager is indeed running, and that the listener on the (presumably default) port has been started?

And there's nothing in the queue manager logs indicating a problem?

And does that qmgr have:
CHANNEL(SYSTEM.BKR.CONFIG) CHLTYPE(SVRCONN)
?
can you connect to the qmgr using amqscnxc ?
