Hi!
I'm using WMB 6 and MQ 6 on windows environment.
I try to access remotely the broker and received the message that my config manager is unvailable but it's running...
I read about it in this link http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/wmbhelp/v6r0m0/index.jsp?topic=/com.ibm.etools.mft.doc/au16600_.htm
but it's not solved my problem cause all the configuration are right!
My config mgr is running and all command too.
I don't know what it can be! All links tell me the same thing but the configuration of my config mgr is not wrong and my ACL have the user which i use to access toolkit.
Had somebody this problems?
Thanks!! _________________ Henrique Neil

Did you specify the connection information for the Configuration manager's queue manager, or the Broker's queue manager?
You only connect to the Brokers indirectly, by way of the ConfigMgr. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

you should check to log files of your qmgr, perhaps you missed something with authority. |

Are you trying to use the MQ Explorer to connect to a queue manager? Or the WMB Toolkit to connect to a Configuration Manager?
You started off complaining that you couldn't connect to your Configuration Manager, but now you have posted an error message about SYSTEM.MQEXPLORER.REPLY.MODEL. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

So what exact steps have you followed to connect in the Broker Toolkit?
And what, exactly, does the error about SYSTEM.MQEXPLORER.REPLY.MODEL have to do with this? _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

That's still an MQ error.
You keep saying you are having trouble connecting FROM THE TOOLKIT.
Please tell us the EXACT steps you are doing, when you are getting an error. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

I cannot conect to config mgr using the toolkit... the only error that i got is it!
If i using the MQ Explorer i see all queues, but when i try to conect by toolkit i see the channels start up, but my final result is failure...
when i look at event viewer there's only this kind of error _________________ Henrique Neil

Can you use amqscnxc to connect to the SYSTEM.BKR.CONFIG channel on the ConfigMgr queue manager? _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
