Hello Everybody,
This is the first time I post a Message here.
I have some time working with MQSeries but I have been using the MQSeries Services program to do some tasks like creating a Listener for a Queue Manager.
Now, I got a request to create a script to regenerate the complete enviroment and it is almost complete the only exception is that I dont know how to create a listener for a Queue Manager through a command line.
It could be a MQSC statement or any api call (MQI,MQAX,etc).
I'm using MQSeries 5.2.1 for Windows NT.
Any help is welcome,
Thanks,
Claudio.
P.S: This web site is a great job Duncan. |

I have never tried it myself so I cannot help a lot, but have a look in the documentation "MQ Series for Windows NT and Windows 2000 v5.2.1 Quick beginnings", in Chapter 4 (Other methods of installing), section "Advanced installation methods".
See the title "Using the MQParms command" on page 62, and an example parameter file on page 68 to set the listener port number of your queue manager.
I hope this may help you _________________ Nicolas Maréchal
