Any help is highly appreciated.
Set up:
QMGR QM1 is running on a seperate XP laptop
QMGR QM2 is running on my XP laptop
Issue seen:
Cluster Receiver on QM2 is running
cluster Sender on QM2 is in retying mode
Following trouble shooting were done:
1. The Listener is running both the sides ( Port 1417 is used)
2. Telnet to the host and port to each other is successful
3. Verfied the channel names both the sides and they look correct
4. Restarted the channels
5. Ping option used from Qmgr QM1 cluster sender channel failed with AMQ4074 message
Below is the log snippet from Amqerr under Qmgr directory has:

Did you check the firewall settings and will they allow communication? _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

No Actually. I`m in a client`s place and they have very stringent rules and regulation.
This excersise was basically to show my collegue in my new client place about the power of MQ clustering. _________________ Sanvij
