Hello,
Need some help from you all.
How is MQ HP-UX installation and configuration different from Linux version?
Such as for Linux mqm user and mqm group is required, can the HP-UX installation & configuration be done with same type of user as of Linux.
Where do I get the evaluation version for the required installation and config documents from IBM site for HP-UX?

There's no evaluation version of the documentation.
The documentation for installing MQ on HP-UX is in the WebSphere MQ Information Center, just like the documentation for installing MQ on Linux.
The HP-UX installation and configuration is different than the Linux installation and configuration in those places where Linux is different than HP-UX.

Hello All,
I was refferring the docs for HP-UX and Linux.
What is the differrence between 'SDK' as an installable component in MQ Linux and 'Base' as an installable component in MQ HP-UX?
SDK is mandatory for Linux where as Base is not mandatory for HP-UX.

Whcih SDK you are talking about ? MQ SDK or Java SDK or which SDK? Again,k which base do you mean? Base java SDK ? Can hyou plase wirte clearly when you asked question.

| Each OS might have different terminology and different ways of packaging so correlating might always not be a good idea. I would suggest you to look into the quick beginnings of each OS that you are interested in and proceed. |
