Hi,

We are using a message-bean to read messages (datagrams) sent from a legacy application. A message selector is used and has been defined as follows:

JMS_IBM_MsgType=8

When we use this bean in RAD (Test environment 5.1) everything works fine. When the application is deployed onto WAS it seems that messages are no longer picked up. If the message selector is removed then messages are picked up in both environments. Both these environments uses the same Queue Manager/Queues.

Has anyone experienced a similar problem?

Frederic,

Why would you want to read only datagrams to the exclusion of any other message type?

Is there a business reason for this behavior? and can you garantee that you will never get a message of interest that is not a datagram?

You are making a non portable decision here: JMS_IBM_.....

"datagram" is a non-portable decision.
