Hi All,

I've installated fixpack 2(Both Broker and Toolkit) on my windows 2000 machine. After that, whenever I try to connect to the config manger, it stays forever with a message "Requesting Connection". It does not stop with any error messages nor I can see anything in the event logs.

My broker, Config manager, MQ queue managers, listeners are running fine.

I could see the lots of messages in the .log file. I've pasted one of them below

!SUBENTRY 1 org.eclipse.hyades.uml2sd.trace 1 1 Aug 21, 2006 11:51:06.932
!MESSAGE This plug-in (located at "C:\Program Files\IBM\MessageBrokersToolkit\6.0\rwdrpt_shared\eclipse\plugins\org.eclipse.hyades.uml2sd.trace_3.0.1") was ignored because another version of the same plug-in (located at "C:\Program Files\IBM\MessageBrokersToolkit\6.0\rwdrpt_shared\eclipse\plugins\org.eclipse.hyades.uml2sd.trace_3.3.0") was picked

I'm wondering whether this is a fixpack2 issue, as I did not have any of these issues with Fixpack1 or am I missing something.

Thanks

Hi selfown,

I updated to fixpack 2 a few days back....did not get such errors.

Is this log file the installation log for the fixpack ? Maybe you should try a rollback and install again....if it occurs again, raise a PMR.

Regards.

I've J2RE 1.4.2 running on my machine.

When I try to Rollback from RPU, I can see a message

Either your classpath is messed up, or you did not run mqsiservice from inside a Command Console or other shell environment that had applied the mqsiprofile.

I re-installed broker fixpack 2 and for some other reasons, had to re-install JRE on my machine.

Now I'm able to connect to config manager and everything is working as expected.

Thanks jefflowrey and elvis_gn for your replies.

Regards
