I am installing MQ Series Server v6.0 in Windows 2000.
While Installation I am getting a error saying that "unable to launch program gsk7win.exe(AMQ4733)".
I searched the IBM site for the error. They mentioed to run the exe from the installation source directory.
I tried the same. But installation is stll unsucessfull.
Please, suggest. |

Is Windows 2000 supported for MQ v6? I didn't think even Microsoft supported it anymore.

Meaning what? What error are you getting? Same as before or different?

I am getting the same error.
after I run the gsk7win.exe from the source , in the wizard its says
"rolling back action" and the status bar goes back to begining !!
After that the wizard says "Installation wizard interuppted".
FYI . I have installed in other windows boxes using the same setup but never faced this problem.
MQ was preveously instlled in this box. I uninstalled for some reason and trying to install again. A Q Manager is already created there. |

I suggest opening a PMR with IBM Service. Let us know how you make out ....

There should be a log file from the installer somewhere.
I think there might be a message in the Event Viewer that talks about where it is...
