Hi all,

I am having trouble trying to re-install WMB6 broker runtime after uninstalling the broker using the uninstaller. The uninstall was clean. I removed all the broker directories ie /opt/ibm/mqsi/6.0 and /var/mqsi.

When I tried to re-install the broker, the installer insist that a new version of the broker already exist (where does it keep this info). The only way around it is to change the install directory to something different from the previous install.

How do I install the broker runtime in the same directory?

BTW. I am installing on RHEL 4.

There's a "vpd.properties" file somewhere that has installation registry entries.
