A message is sent from broker(on AIX) to Windows from there it is routed to Mainfreame Application. When the mainfrerame application picks up the message. Message is send to mainfram is of the format HDR(Not MQMD header)+DETAIL., I am hearing from mainframe guys that messages are not in proper format, that MQMD header is more than what is expected . we are not seeting any MQMD format or CCID is 437. The communication between NT and Mainframe takes place using remote queing. Can some one tell me what is causing the problem. |

Could it be that you have an additional header on the message like for instance the MQRFH2 header? _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

no there is no rfh2 header. onlything i can assume rightnow is that either there is transmission header or it is mq series version or I need to set CCSID for it. Any feedback is appriciated. |

Don't assume anything. Ask the mainframe guys to be more specific.
They may be assuming a problem with a header, when it's actually a problem with their code. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

And when in doubt, ask for an amqsbcg (browse) of the message on the queue. |
